Severe Weather Cancels Richmond Prerelease

StarCityGames.com is reporting today that a severe winter weather storm is forcing them to cancel their planned Prerelease for Richmond, Virginia. Here's the statement from their site:

"RICHMOND, VIRGINIA - Due to a significant winter storm expected to hit Friday/Saturday, the Richmond, Virginia Regional Worldwake Prerelease has been cancelled. This event will not be rescheduled."

They also announced a change to their planned Prerelease event in Roanoke, Virginia. The event will take place on Sunday instead of Saturday.

"ROANOKE, VIRGINIA - The Roanoke, Virginia Worldwake Prerelease being held at the Star City Game Center will now be run on Sunday, January 31st (instead of Saturday). For more information on this event, please click here."

Oddly the announcement was the second time in as many days unusual circumstances forced the cancellation of a Prerelease. Yesterday we reported an iceberg had delayed shipping of Worldwake product to China, forcing the cancellation of all Prerelease and Release events there.
